De Pol Motorhome Area is a peaceful spot nestled between a farm and the Valleikanaal. It offers space for 24 campers, with gravel areas surrounded by lush greenery and a grassy terrace. Visitors can also explore the nearby farm and enjoy various cycling and walking routes in the Utrechtse Heuvelrug region, or even go canoeing. Within a short drive, you can reach the charming center of Scherpenzeel, which boasts excellent restaurants and shops.
This camper spot is nicely located and well-maintained, with a toilet available. However, it does not have a shower facility. One major drawback is the presence of the farm dog, which roams freely around the camper spot. I was startled when I encountered the dog outside my camper one evening.
We stayed here for one night and were pleasantly surprised. The payment process was convenient, just put the payment in an envelope and drop it in the registration box. It's a great option for a short stay of 1-2 days.
