Located slightly ahead of the initial location, there is a spot where you can go fishing and possibly launch boats. There is parking available on the upper level, enough for one or possibly two vans. Situated at the 1km marker, we stayed here for four nights and used it as a base to visit San Sebastián and Bilbao. It offers a high level of privacy, with dog walkers and similar visitors being the only company you'll encounter.
As mentioned in the previous comment, we chose not to stay at this location due to the presence of a tombstone. Instead, we continued a bit further and found a great spot by the edge of the lake, with a trail leading down. Although a few locals passed by, it was still very quiet at this time of the year.
Beautiful and peaceful spot. Spent a week here. Apart from being woken up twice by honking cars at night, it's very quiet. Great for trout fishing, the fish taste delicious. However, some parts of the lake are difficult to access. It's also a great place for hiking.
