The road we took near the volcano was very narrow and steep. We were driving a 6-meter Fiat Ducato. Two cars came toward us, and we had to reverse for a considerable distance to let them pass. Be cautious if you drive in this area.

This area has a flat landscape with no shade and many goats. It has good 4G coverage, making it suitable for a hiking base camp. Dogs should be leashed around goats, no outdoor fires are allowed, and guests can visit from October 1 to May 31, but not in summer.

Do not drive up; the road is very steep. The area has been blocked with large stones, making it hard to turn around for vehicles over 5 meters long.
