Located near section 11.1 of the Upplandsleden trail and a gravel road, there is a parking area with space for 2-3 cars. It includes a picnic table and a small fire pit. This secluded spot has minimal car traffic and is conveniently situated near Gimo village and a bathing area on the opposite side of the lake.
The place was decent. We have been to nicer spots, but since we arrived late, it was okay for just one night. It is located right by a gravel road, and there were a few cars and joggers passing by. In the evening, there were some teenagers driving around in their cars. We parked next to another camper, but the trees provided privacy. There was a fire pit and a bench available. The access to the lake was nice.
There is too much traffic in the afternoon at this quiet camping spot, and some local residents slow down to look. However, a jogger said it's okay to park here. There is a bench with a fire pit, but it is not very usable as it is elevated on a concrete base. It is strange that several teenagers repeatedly came and left in a car in the evenings.
