Great place for a stopover with spacious rooms and helpful staff. They kindly invite guests to make a £5 donation to support the MacMillan charity. Definitely a top choice for future stays when traveling to Dorset.

There is a spacious gravel parking area near the pub, with no parking restrictions or rules against overnight stays. It can accommodate campers of all sizes, and offers a lovely setting by the river. The pub provides food, drinks, and restroom facilities for visitors.

This place is a wonderful choice for accommodation. Although there is some traffic noise, it is tolerable. We have stayed here three times and enjoyed the great food and pleasant walks for our dog. The idea of a £10 charity donation is commendable, as it removes the pressure to eat. Unfortunately, there have been reports of some campers who do not eat or contribute to the donations. Let's all remember that this is for a great cause that could potentially benefit someone in our own families one day.
