Quiet parking area. 12 km long hike, partly on wooden planks through beautiful marshland, partly along gravel paths and through endless forest with many mosquitoes. Picnic areas along the trail and observation tower at the parking area.

Located within the Reposuo nature reserve, Parking Ulkajoki is a convenient starting point for a 12km birding hike along the road to the Ruunaa hiking area. Visitors can enjoy the natural surroundings and make use of the available dry toilets during their visit.

Located in the middle of a forest, this area is a bird sanctuary. There is a viewing platform and a dry toilet nearby. It can accommodate around 4-5 RVs, including larger ones. At night, you can only hear the sound of birds chirping.
