There is free parking available at a nautical base. You will only need to pay for any activities you choose to do on the base. The parking areas are located in different places among the trees, creating a peaceful environment. Before entering the lake, there are dry toilets and a water fountain nearby. To reach the parking area, take the D11 road and then the "Route du bois français" on the north bank of the Isère river. Please note that only the lakes are monitored by video surveillance, not the parking. Enjoy your evening!
This parking area is spacious and surrounded by greenery, with a lake nearby for swimming. The nights here are peaceful and enjoyable. Occasionally, a few cars might pass by in the evenings for less lawful activities, but it's not bothersome as they just pass through.
The area is known for its peacefulness, but there are occasional nuisances like mosquitoes and some disruptive individuals. I had to shoo away someone who was driving around my van and parked too close. When I confronted them, they hastily drove off and didn't return until I left. It's advisable for women to be cautious here. Overall, I don't recommend this spot.
