There is a park where you can stay overnight for free. Although there are no services available, you can park on a grassy area. The park offers beautiful views of the Castle, where you can enter for free and enjoy a meal at the restaurant inside. There are nice cycling paths around the area. The Castle is known for being one of the settings in the famous Dutch TV series "Floris" with Rutger Hauer. In town, you can find a supermarket, cafe, and cafeteria. Don't forget to also visit fort Pannerden.
What a great parking spot! It's free and right next to a castle. There's a Spar nearby for your morning shopping needs. Additionally, there's a wonderful playground just 5 minutes away that caters to all age groups, complete with a mud pool and animal enclosure.
Along a quiet road, there are locations with no services or TV due to trees but very peaceful at night. Don't miss a visit to the castle courtyard, where you'll find a friendly café restaurant.
