This peaceful campground near Portlick bay is ideal for small groups of up to 6 campers. Visitors can also enjoy a nearby forest walk. Although it is primarily frequented by locals, it is a lovely spot for a tranquil getaway. Please note that the road leading from Glasson village is narrow and only allows for one vehicle at a time, so be prepared to pull over if you encounter another car.
There are free and clean toilets available for both adults and children. The sleeping area can accommodate up to 6 or 8 campers comfortably. Unfortunately, you cannot dispose of dirty water or obtain clean water at this location. The parking lot serves as the starting point for a lovely hike through the forest, offering scenic views of the lake.
The parking area has a gentle incline and can accommodate around four vans. The toilets are clean but infested with wasps, and there is a sign indicating that the water is not safe to drink. There are picnic tables available for use. The park is often busy with numerous dog walkers and other visitors.
