Parking at the Cafe in Stronachlachar is the perfect starting point for boat trips on Loch Katrine. With a beautiful view of the loch and limited vehicles, we arrived at 7 pm and easily found parking for the night. The accessible restrooms are available when the restaurant is open, accommodating all vehicles.
This lovely spot at the end of the road leading to Stronachlachar offers a picturesque view of Loch Katrine. The facilities include clean toilets and hot water. Electricity is available for an additional fee. There's also a nice walking trail nearby, and a cafe that serves breakfast. It's an idyllic location.
The owners of the small restaurant were very friendly and provided spaces for camping cars and campervans. It cost £10 for the night for a group of four, without electricity but with access to toilets and sinks. The view was stunning! It was possible to make a reservation in advance, but we arrived last minute without any issues.
