This is a picturesque location with a peaceful forest setting. It is run by a friendly staff and offers picnic areas and barbecue options upon request. The facilities are basic with no electricity or running water, but there are simple toilets available. Currently, visitors can contribute donations for entry. Additionally, there is a small kiosk offering a variety of drinks and hot dogs.
Camping available on a sunny, sloping meadow with beautiful views. Costs 40 RON for campers, but no electricity or water. There's a hike down to Lake D. Wald, shade trees, and bear tracks in the area. The campground is enclosed by a fence due to bear activity, but we're unsure if there's electricity available. Despite the limited amenities, we prefer this location over the darker campground below, which charges 60 RON and offers showers.
The place appears fully closed and deserted. Nevertheless, it is worth making a quick stop here as the view is breathtaking. Hopefully, the campsite down the road is open.
