There is a small parking area located near the road in Stang Woods. It can be easily reached from the A66 near Boldron. There is no sign indicating that parking is not allowed.
This location is a great spot for star gazing. It is quiet and dark, making it ideal for those interested in observing the stars. The only drawback is that there is no phone or internet signal. However, if you're only looking for a place to stay for one night, this shouldn't be a problem.
This is a great place for staying overnight. It's not right next to the road, which we like. There is enough space for a couple of vans and it's nice and flat. It's located right by a stile, so it's convenient for walking the dog. There are no restrictions, so it's perfect for a one-night stay. We enjoyed it and would recommend it.
