Small parking spot available on moorland, facing West. Can accommodate one van. Located on the right side, approximately 150 meters after passing the cattle grid when driving from Clitheroe to Pendleton Moor. No amenities provided, but the spot is level and offers great views for sunset. The moorland area is ideal for walking, hiking, and bird watching. The only drawback is the proximity to a fairly busy road, particularly in the evening. However, overnight, the traffic decreases. If the spot is already taken, there are additional parking options further up the road on both sides.

This accommodation is suitable for only one person. It is situated near a road, but there are fewer cars passing by than expected. However, it is not a private location. Unfortunately, the downside of this spot is the significant amount of litter left in the parking area, which is quite disheartening.

The location was nice, although it was a bit uphill. We were able to reach it with our older model van. It was fun to have sheep nearby, rubbing against the van.
On the downside, there was quite a bit of car traffic, especially after 8pm. Some young drivers even pulled onto the roadside near us, which was not ideal.
Overall, we would consider going again, but maybe not on the weekend.
