There is a flat grassy area located near Gerlachov village that can be reached by following a stony path for approximately 500m. From here, you can enjoy a view of the High Tatras massif and fields. There is a river below, and the area is very quiet with no passage. Please note that during dry weather, there are other flat spots available around 150m further, although they may become a little muddy after rain.
The path was challenging, but we managed to navigate it with our 8.30-meter vehicle weighing 5 tons. It would have been impossible on a rainy day. The view was breathtaking, and we had a peaceful night. The next morning, the farmer passed by with his cows, causing no issues.
This calm spot offers a view of the mountains. We parked at the fork in the road, not directly in the field. Around 8 o'clock, friendly farmers passed by with their peaceful cows in the fields. The ground is slightly uneven, and we had the place all to ourselves. The access road is rocky and bumpy, but manageable.
