Vanputtensvlei is a campground located 2 km east of Lamberts Bay. It has around 10 grassy campsites with good wind protection. Facilities include clean ablutions, electricity, water, and braai spots. The area is home to many birds and has three dogs and big turtles. Nearby attractions include Birds Island and Restaurant Muisbosskerm.
