The Friedenau Campsite is a peaceful and spacious place to go camping. They offer amenities such as electric hookup, toilets, showers, and a washing up area. For your convenience, they also provide a morning bread service and have a small restaurant/bar on site. The owners are very friendly. Located just a short walk away from the village, it offers a tranquil atmosphere unlike the larger campgrounds near the Rhine. The cost is approximately 21 euros per night for two people staying in a van, including electricity.
This campsite offers peace and relaxation next to a gentle flowing stream in a natural setting. Despite its proximity to a quiet road, we hardly noticed any noise at night. The restroom facilities were clean and in good working condition. The campsite owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful from our first phone call until our departure. We highly recommend this campsite.
The place is not even worth one star. We stayed there for one night and it is actually very outdated. It's not clean at all. After my wife took a shower, she couldn't use the hairdryer because there was no electricity. They didn't inform us about this at check-in. I absolutely do not recommend it. I don't understand why previous guests found it so great. Yes, it was quiet.
