The camper place at 'Achter het veer' marina is a peaceful location situated next to the Linge River. It offers easy access to the town center of Geldermalsen, which is just a short walk away.
Nice spot in the marina. The restroom facilities were very clean. The harbor master was very friendly. We were told to register through the website. Unfortunately, the receipt had the wrong ending (.nl instead of .com), but the helpful harbor master still let us in.
The place offers a friendly welcome, clean facilities, and everything you need. The prices are also reasonable. It is open all year round, including the restroom facilities. Clearly, they have put effort into providing a good experience. Personally, I find it inconvenient that the gate is locked at all times and can't be opened by visitors. However, others may find it to be a safety feature or prefer it that way. The harbor master is always available and can open the gate even at night in case of emergency.
