There is a parking spot that can only be accessed by driving to the area from the south side of the bridge. The bridge itself is closed to traffic. From this parking spot, there is a nice view of the Museo Bridge, which used to be the border between old Russia and Sweden when Finland was part of Sweden. Camping is not allowed in the parking spot, but the small peninsula next to it can accommodate one or two vans. There is a place to swim, but the water is fast-moving, so it may not be suitable for children.
