The lake is beautiful with a stunning building standing next to it. However, the restaurant called Luisenhof has received negative reviews for their food.

There is a free parking area available near the Gabelsee swimming lake and Seehotel Luisenhof. It is mostly used by bathers during the day, but at night it is usually quiet. The village of Falkenhagen, which offers restaurants, sports facilities, and additional swimming options, is just 1km away.
