There is a pleasant park located under the bridge arches, which offers good access and nice walking paths. Visitors also have the option to stay overnight if they wish.

There is a great location near the River that provides shelter from rain. The train station, just 100m away, had open toilets throughout the entire night. Within a 4-minute walk is the Arncliffe Arms, where you can enjoy delicious home-cooked meals.

This park offers a great place to park around 6 vans or motorhomes, with undercover spots available. The nearby train station has clean toilets that are open 24 hours. There is also a pub just 4 minutes away, and opportunities for Esk Valley walks. Trains from Whitby to Middlesbrough stop here multiple times a day. Please remember not to leave litter and keep this place clean.
