This is a spacious location with a pebble beach that offers a scenic view of the river. It's a peaceful and secluded spot where you can enjoy a tranquil night. The person we spoke to from the nearby village assured us that it is a safe place to sleep. In May, there may be a few mosquitoes, but they are not bothersome. You can reach this location by taking a small gravel road near the bridge, and there should be no issues if you're driving a VW California.
On the way back, it can be challenging to find peaceful places like this one. I was alone with mosquitoes. However, I slept well in the cool weather – currently 21 degrees, which could be worse. For those who can't find it, it's near the red traffic light on the bridge. Take the gravel path on the left and continue at a leisurely pace.
The GPS was unable to locate the place, making it impossible to eat outside or even stay there for a few minutes. The access was fine until we reached a slope where our long vehicle had some difficulties. There was a lot of tall grass and we couldn't find the access to the river, only a stagnant water point that had a bad odor. One night was enough for us.
