This is a nice flat area suitable for parking a vehicle. It is located on a small road that is quiet at night. A local kindly advised us not to make a fire. Please take your trash with you.

There is a small lay-by next to Maud Loch that is suitable for parking a 7-meter van. It is mostly level, has little traffic, and no overnight vehicles. You can get a good 4G signal with certain providers. Midges may be present when there is no wind, but the views are nice.

We discovered a nice place by chance while driving to Loch Tummel. It has flat ground, very little traffic, and offers a beautiful view of snow-covered Schiehallion.
