There is a parking lot available in the stunning park of Rotterdam, which offers a picturesque view of the city's skyline.
There is a free parking area with clean toilets available. We initially planned to stay overnight there but unfortunately, the police directed us to a paid parking area on the opposite side of the lake (charges apply from 9 am to 6 pm). However, it turned out to be a great spot for sleeping.
Parking during the day is allowed, but camping is not permitted. The police asked us to leave around 11 pm and advised that camping in public places is illegal in the Netherlands. We had to search for a proper campsite, but by the time we arrived, it was already closed for the night.
