In late September, it was a beautiful location with clear blue skies and sunshine. At night, breathtaking northern lights were visible. It may get crowded in the summer, but in the fall, it is absolutely fantastic.

Located 1 km past the Slettnes lighthouse, there is a parking area facing north towards the sea. From here, you can embark on a scenic trail that is clearly marked and provides insightful commentary about the challenging lives of the people who once inhabited this area.

Beautiful parking spot, highly recommend taking the coastal hike that starts right from the parking area.
