The Castel Camping Château de l'Epervière is a luxurious campsite located in Burgundy, France. It offers a personalized welcome and a unique experience with its 16th-century heritage. The campsite had large, well-defined and shaded pitches. We were among the few French people there. The sanitary facilities were clean and functional, and the other campers were considerate. We would recommend it for families with children. However, it may not be worth the price for just one night.
You can stay at the castle park of the winery. There are large, well-maintained plots with small hedges. Some places are paved for large campers, but our spot had perfect grass, so no need for a mat. The Saône river is within walking distance, and you can bike along the river for many kilometers. It's actually too beautiful to just pass through.
