You can park overnight at Ben Lomond overflow car park, as confirmed by the rangers. The trail starting from the car park and leading up the hill is situated outside the camping management zone. It's just a 10-minute walk from there to enjoy the scenic views looking back down at Loch Lomond.

This location offers a hassle-free overnight stay. It is a spacious parking area surrounded by trees. However, there are a fair number of midges, so it is advisable to come prepared. During our visit in June, it was relatively calm with only a few cars arriving in the morning for hiking activities.
