The campsite, located near the charming old town, is a short 20-minute walk or 5-minute bike ride away. It offers a peaceful environment and overlooks a stunning lake suitable for swimming. However, please note that only dogs are allowed. The restroom facilities are quite dated with only cold water available for showers.
The place is beautiful, but it is quite expensive to stay there with a camper van for two people, costing 42 euros. The lake is currently very algae-infested and not worth visiting as it is only about two meters deep. However, Dinkelsbühl is definitely worth a visit and there are plenty of spots around it for people who don't need electricity or water.
Great campsite with friendly staff. The pitches are spacious and provide partial shade. The lake is perfect for children and dogs, and both are very welcome. The food is excellent value for money. The toilet facilities are a bit old but they are currently being renovated, with one closed. The open washhouse is more than enough, although the paths are a bit longer. We will definitely come back.
