There is a parking area near the entrance of the Castle of Rundales, located next to the restaurant Balta Maya. It's important to remember that the car park is closed during the night, from 11 pm to 8 am. Therefore, it won't be possible to leave or enter the parking lot during these hours. There is a fee if you wish to use the water and toilet facilities, but you can find showers in the restaurant. Additionally, there is electricity available in the parking area. If the main parking lot is full, there is an alternative parking area at the bottom which is free, unless it gets crowded.

During our stay, we noticed that the restaurant was not open. However, the good news was that we were given the opportunity to stay for free. Additionally, we observed that the parking area is closed off at night with a chain, ensuring safety and security. The nights were peaceful and quiet, allowing for a restful sleep. Despite the availability of free services such as loading potable water and dumping waste water, we did not avail ourselves of these services. Lastly, we saw that there is a trampoline available at the restaurant for recreational purposes.
We were offered a complimentary stay with the option to contribute 5-10€ for additional services. The location was peaceful and spacious.
