There is a spacious gravel car park close to the southern beach of Gartower Lake. It has a separate space for parking mobile homes. The surface can be slippery when wet. The car park is conveniently located near a snack bar, where you will also find toilet facilities available for a fee during the daytime. Additionally, there is a barbecue area and small thermal baths within walking distance. You will find supermarkets, restaurants, bakeries, and gas stations nearby.
Free parking available directly behind the embankment. Swimming area located nearby (across the embankment). Snack bar next door, with a 5 € fee for toilet use. Snack bar closed in winter. Great starting point for hiking around the lake (with possible beaver sightings) and fishing. Enjoy beautiful sunsets over the lake during good weather.
Located next to a beautiful lake with swimming opportunities. However, please note that on Friday and Saturday nights, there is a disco in the nearby Tinyhouse settlement across the street. The disco starts at 6:00 PM and may continue until 10:00 PM. We recommend bringing good earplugs for a peaceful night's sleep.
