A spacious parking area has been recently built that specifically caters to motorhomes. However, it does not accommodate vehicles with caravans. The staff are welcoming and the premises are kept clean and well-maintained. Conveniently, a city bus passes by the parking area, and there is a pleasant cycling route along the Salzach River to reach the center of Salzburg, which is approximately 6 km away. Additionally, the restaurant across from Jägerwirt comes highly recommended.
The location is suitable for overnight parking and visiting Salzburg. It is usually possible to find a spot if you arrive early enough, even in August. The bus connection is excellent, and on Fridays, it is apparently free. The showers are basic, with plastic tubs and curtains. The laundry facilities are quite old.
Very convenient and clean parking spot. The staff were very friendly and the process was very straightforward. There is a great bike path leading into the city, and a bus stop right across the street. I would definitely choose this place again. The price of €25 per day is reasonable. The friendliness of the staff is worth mentioning.
