The campground is a nice place to stay with convenient amenities nearby such as a grocery store, pharmacy, and cafe. There is also a charming town worth visiting called Lahnstädtchen.

Stay at the Lahntours campsite in Runkel! This small and pleasant campsite is located next to the Lahn river. There are no designated plots, instead, you can set up camp on the meadow. The recently renovated sanitation facilities are modern and well-maintained. You'll find a supermarket nearby for your convenience. Enjoy swimming in the river and visit the fantastic ice cream parlor in the area.

We stayed at a camping site by the Lahn river for only one night. The facilities were modern, and there was a restaurant. However, apart from that, it was just a grassy area with a few electrical boxes. It is suitable for a short stay of 1-2 nights, especially if you're interested in going on a canoe trip on the Lahn.
