This location offers a nice spot with morning sun and some shade. The ferry is free and the price for the place is 370kr/night, including electricity. It's not a great deal, but there are opportunities for swimming, rubber boating, and fishing for children. The staff at the reception are very friendly. The service house is large and appears to be brand new, as it is very clean. It is also a convenient starting point for searching for fossils in the nearby quarry.

This campsite has several permanent spots and attracts a crowd with a lower socioeconomic status. Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant or on the outdoor terrace, but they can sit next to their owners on the ground. There is a designated dog area with a fenced grass field. If we had known the atmosphere beforehand, we would not have chosen to stay here.

It's interesting how tastes can vary! For us, this was the least enjoyable spot on our 15-day trip. The majority of campers seemed to be long-term residents with extravagant setups. The caravan plots were cramped and far from the lake, and the layout of the facility was confusing. While the restroom buildings appeared clean, they had a musty odor. It's clear that this place dominates the island, but it didn't offer anything special for the price we paid.
