Located in Troy, this restaurant boasts delicious homemade Turkish dishes and is run by a friendly mother and son team. The parking area is clean and quiet, and though there is no dryer, there is a washing machine available. The museum is conveniently located across the street, with the town of Troy just a short walk away. The gift shop offers a wide variety of handmade items. While the two resident cats are not allowed outside, the owner is accommodating towards pets. However, please be cautious of the busy street in front of the restaurant. The highway provides easy access to the location.
Conveniently situated across from the museum, the accommodation costs ₺350 per night, which may be considered a bit pricey. However, the price did include access to electricity. During our stay, we experienced slow wifi due to the winter weather, as well as a limited hot water supply, which required us to take quick showers.
This place offers everything you need for a stopover and to visit Troy. The food offered is simple but good. However, it is advised to ask for the price beforehand, as we were somewhat surprised. For the price, we could have eaten twice elsewhere in Turkey. The facilities, especially the shower, are quite basic and in need of a thorough cleaning.
