The picnic area is surrounded by tall black pine trees and offers peaceful and lovely walking paths leading to the Riou gorges. There is a fountain with flowing water nearby. The access road is narrow but has very little traffic.

This area is great for relaxing. You can hear the wind, but it's sheltered. There is also a water fountain available.
