There is a parking space at Meadow with a great view of Burger Binnensee, perfect for surfers and others. It is located before the Wulfen-Hals campsite but is part of it. The price for accommodation varies depending on the season. Cash payment is accepted between 7 and 9 a.m. The price is justified due to the beautiful view and proximity to the water. Although it is a self-sufficient area, there are facilities for gray water disposal and fresh water available near the campsite entrance. Trash cans are also provided. The parking space is just a 100m walk or bike ride away from the entrance. I highly recommend the parking space, which can accommodate a maximum of 50 vehicles. The campsite itself is also impressive.
The place is absolutely amazing. During the peak season, one should not be surprised to find it crowded. However, outside of holiday times, the campsite is less busy and very peaceful and cozy. The nearby sea adds to the charm of this camping spot. In the morning, a gentleman on a golf cart came to handle the payments and shared some helpful information about the island. Five stars!
This place is suitable for a one-night stay. However, be aware that there is no toilet available. The nearest one is located on the golf course or at the camping site, which is about a 300m walk. Showers are also available there and can be used for free. The camping site also has a shop where you can find everything you need. Make sure to leave on time to avoid any extra charges.
