The meadow in front of a Dutch windmill is maintained by a local mill and history association. Guests are expected to behave respectfully. During certain times of the year when the nearby cornfields are tall, the meadow is peaceful and not easily seen. The Mühlenschänke restaurant is nearby and can be reached on foot.

The location is lovely, but the noise from the nearby road can be quite loud during the day. It becomes more bearable at night. The ground consists of muddy grass and can accommodate larger vehicles.
