In 2015, Eibiswald municipality created a parking area at Soboth reservoir. It provides convenient access to the lake and includes a sunbathing area. From June 1st to September 30th, the site offers various amenities such as a buffet, toilet facilities, water supply point, dumping area for camping toilets, dishwashing area, and solar shower. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis, with no need for reservations. Payment can be made at any of the three parking machines.
This is a popular location by the lake, especially in July when it can get busy. We were lucky to find the last available spot. If the spots are full, there is also parking available nearby. Please note that camping is not permitted in the parking area.
