There is a fantastic campsite along the route to Glentrool walks. Although it is near a road, the noise is minimal as it is not a heavily trafficked area. The site offers amenities such as toilets, showers, and outdoor sinks for washing dishes and clothes. Additionally, there is a bothy available with a kettle, microwave, and fridge/freezer. There are well-marked paths leading directly to Glentrool visitors centre, so you can avoid walking on or near the road.
