This location is ideal for a convenient stopover near the New Forest. The staff are extremely friendly, and you are required to register your vehicle upon arrival. We enjoyed reasonably priced drinks and found the menu to have a wide variety of options. The car park at the back of the pub easily accommodated our 5.5m motorhome. It is advisable to arrive before the pub closes to complete the registration process. Overall, we would recommend this place.
There is a convenient car park located beside the pub, not the small one between the pub and the main road. Initially, the person who answered the phone did not think we could stay, but when we arrived and inquired, they allowed us to park. The food at the pub was enjoyable.
