Welcome to Askrike Camping! It is a peaceful location that may appear somewhat deserted. Please note that the front desk is open only between 9:00 to 10:00 and 14:00 to 15:00, but alternate arrangements can be made at the square for late check-ins. The sanitary facilities may appear slightly worn-out, but they are still functional. To use the showers, you will need a chip card. The management is actively working on improving the campground gradually. Despite the presence of long-term campers, they are not particularly noticeable. The staff members are friendly and accommodating.
The campsite is beautiful and well-maintained. However, there were a few inconveniences upon arrival. We were unable to drive onto the grounds until 2 PM and had to check in with a friendly elderly lady who spoke good English. The campsite was quite busy, but luckily we were able to secure a fantastic spot with a view of the lake for our camper van, despite not having made a reservation (campsite number 10). The restroom facilities were old but kept clean.

In this area, there are a lot of people who camp here for long periods of time, but there are also nice spots for those who only stay for a few days. The restroom facilities are a bit older, but they are kept clean. We traveled from Vaxholm to Stockholm by boat, and we really enjoyed our time there.
