We had a peaceful night with another camper. We enjoyed smoked and fried trout from a nearby taverna. In the evening, locals used a watermill to make flour, just 100 meters from where we were staying. It was an authentic local experience.
The location is between two rivers, providing shade and coolness with limited sunlight. There is a nearby water source, and while a road is close, the sound of the river masks any noise. Occasionally, goats and their shepherd can be seen passing by.

Weekdays are much better for visits, as weekends can be crowded, even in October during Covid-19. Avoid parking in the rain, as there is no phone or data signal. The area is fully shaded, and expect falling leaves in winter.
