Rifugio sul mare is a new rest area in Botricello, opened for a few weeks. It's near a free sandy beach and features grassy areas with trees. The place lacks toilets and sinks, and has limited services. Ants are present, so use insecticides. It will close on October 30th.
This is a well-maintained parking area with friendly and helpful owners. There are no restrooms, but there are two free showers available and electricity access. Water loading and unloading is permitted. The beach is just a short 2-minute walk away.
The parking area is open from mid-July and is being set up near the sea. The managers are very helpful and went out of their way to assist. There are free hot and cold outdoor showers, dishwashing and laundry sinks, and a children's play area. Shaded pitches are available. The beach is great.
