There is a convenient rest area located between Sandhult and Hedared that offers a peaceful alternative to crowded camping spots in the area. The rest area is situated alongside a small river, which can be explored on foot thanks to an old stone bridge. It is an ideal spot for an overnight stay, with room for over 10 vehicles. Clean toilets and garbage cans are provided. Although there is more traffic in the morning, noise is minimal at night due to a small noise barrier. Although there is a nearby car test track, we did not experience any noise disturbances after sunset.
