Our road side park offers overnight parking for at least two vans. The park has ample space and is suitable for larger vehicles like a LWB Mercedes Sprinter. The road does not have street lights, but it provides scenic views and there is very little traffic throughout the day and night. The park is conveniently located just off the M6.
This is a convenient rest area located on a peaceful road. Despite arriving late in the night, there was only one other vehicle present at that time. The road leading to the spot may be narrow in some sections, but it posed no issues for our larger van. The ground is not perfectly level but suitable for a brief rest. My boyfriend mentioned hearing a few passing cars, but I had my earplugs on. One advantage is the pleasant view it offers upon waking up.
The location offers stunning views, although it might be a bit challenging to reach from the south due to a narrow road. Larger vehicles like a 5.5m Fiat Ducato can manage it. It can be quite windy as it is exposed on all sides. There aren't many cars around, making it a quiet spot for the night. Additionally, it is conveniently located near the M6, which can be heard in the distance.
