This camping ground is a peaceful and nicely maintained option for those looking to visit Lake Constance without spending too much on accommodation. The nearby Salem lake is just a short 10-minute bike ride away, offering crystal clear water that is ideal for families with children of all ages. Additionally, free WiFi is available at the reception area.
In late October, the campground was not very busy. The check-in process was friendly and easy. The beautiful Bodensee lake is close by, surrounded by a lovely wine region. Electricity usage is charged separately. The showers are large and provide hot water. Some of the pitches are situated on a slope and are uneven (bring leveling blocks). I paid 17€ for one person, a small camper van, and electricity. The washing machine and dryer cost 3€ each.
I arrived at the campsite without a reservation, with a car and a tent for one person. I was given a spot at the back of the campsite, which was not an issue for me as I had a bicycle. The cost was 18€ per night, and the campsite had clean sanitary facilities. There was also a barbecue area and a restaurant bar. The campsite was conveniently located near Lake Schloss See, which could be accessed by a cycling path. The lake had beautiful emerald-colored water, lifeguards, and toilet facilities.
