The toilets were closed during the day and at night, and there was a bad smell of old water and the toilet itself, possibly due to the weather. It felt more like a crowded accommodation rather than a vacation spot. It was suitable for basic needs like waste disposal and a night's stay while passing through. It was quiet at night.
To get to Montpellier by bus, head towards the beach and turn left towards Hotel de Ville. Look for the orange line 1 bus, which runs every 30 minutes. Get off at the final stop, Etang de l'Or, and transfer to the green line 3. This bus will take you to Montpellier. Get off at Gare Saint-Roch, which is in the city center.
