This is a great place to stay, very peaceful and surrounded by nature. Despite being in the woods, you can reach the center of Lauf in just 10 minutes by bike.

This is a parking area for hikers, with a gravel surface and a slight incline. There are no facilities available. It is usually a peaceful spot, although there may be a lot of joggers around during the evening. There are sports parks and race tracks nearby, as well as an outdoor pool around 500 meters away, which offers showers. There are also hostels within walking distance, and a supermarket about 1.5 kilometers away.

At night, it is very quiet. On Sunday morning, there is a lot of activity with joggers, dog owners, and hikers. There is enough space for everyone at the back and everything is fine. Please keep the area clean where you are standing. The restaurant is within walking distance and highly recommended. The hiking trails are well marked and very beautiful, mostly through the forest on well-maintained paths.
