A stunning location accessible via an ancient road leading to a short path and a spacious parking lot near a bridge. Stayed for 3 nights in September 2016. Another location nearby is reachable by motorbike due to the deteriorated path. La Cala di Polpo on the island offers many small beaches enclosed by granite rocks. An unforgettable experience.
Park your van here for free and explore the nearby beautiful cove on foot. Parking is spacious. Road gets rough after parking, so avoid going too far with a camper. Breathtaking beaches are just a short walk away. We used the parking only for the day.
Visit the bathing coves at the northern end of the peninsula "Testa de Polpo and Caletta di Giardinelli," located 800m away. It's peaceful overnight, and staying here is trouble-free.
