There are three areas to choose from here. We initially parked in the car park near the road, but decided to move due to the wind and people using the bush area as a public restroom. We relocated to a larger, flatter area which offered more protection from the wind and had bins available. This spot is perfect for stargazing, with a helpful sign indicating all the stars and their locations. However, we were briefly disturbed around 2am by local individuals playing loud music from their car stereos. They noticed our presence in the van and turned off the music before leaving. Despite this, the area is stunning and offers some wonderful nearby walking opportunities.
