Parking is available every day except Sundays and public holidays. There is a barbecue area conveniently located near the parking lot. Waste disposal services are also provided. The location has a slight slope, but there is a large forest parking lot nearby if that is a concern. The area offers excellent views and a well-maintained playground, making it ideal for families camping with children. Motorhome owners may need to park in a different area as the playground parking may not be suitable due to limited length. The writer did not experience any issues with their T4 vehicle.
Parking in Alkhoven is not a problem, as there are designated areas with gravel where you can safely park your vehicle. These areas are frequented by many pedestrians, who may pass by your motorhome. Even in the evenings after 9 pm, there are still people around. However, it is not recommended to park in the entrance to the playground, as it might upset some of the walkers, which is evident from their expressions. We initially parked there but had to move due to this.
